I agree with all that has been posted so far.
I have the original trio in white body, Lissie in German chubette version, and PM Addy, and LOVE everyone of them.
However, I definitely do not like PM AGoTs, since their hair and faces don't quite "speak to me"

Regarding the doll body sizes: it depends on the dolls as well as on the life the doll has had. A well loved 20 year old is bound to be thiner than one that sat in the box (the stuffing gets compacted with hugs!)
But definitely the 2004 and 2005 dolls are getting thinner (considerably!) and their heads are smaller.
It is very clear in Lissie since she has no bangs and her head is visibly smaller. Her dresses are getting tighter also! You need to check and do some trial and error. So far all PM dresses fit my Lissie, and none of the new ones do!
Once again: the best doll is the one you bond with!
